How do I apply?

Do I need to have a team to apply?
No, you don't need to have a team to apply. We accept applications from individuals.
How do you choose who will be invited?
We have an admission process open to anyone, anywhere in the world. You can apply here. We're inviting chosen teams to interview online and then decide. The video interviews are held on a rolling basis from May to June. If you apply by the deadline, you'll hear from us by June 9.
Does it cost money to participate?
No, our accelerator program is entirely free.
Where does the Text Accelerated program happen?
The first edition of the program is happening remotely. It features weekly workshops (set time) and meetings with mentors and experts (you choose your own time).
What are the benefits?
Mentorship: Joining the accelerator program will provide access to a wide range of mentors and advisors who can guide you through the process of starting and running a successful business. With their help and expertise, you can start quicker.
Help with Distribution: Text Accelerated is designed to help you reach your target markets. We provide help with distribution, allowing startups to easily access the right channels to get their products and services to the right people.
Community: Joining the accelerator program will also give you access to a vibrant and supportive community of product people, customers and start-up experts. What can I expect from the weekly workshops in the Text Accelerated program?
Our weekly workshops are a central part of the Text Accelerated program. These online sessions, each lasting up to 2 hours including a Q&A session, delve into crucial aspects of your project:
- Strategies for tackling text intelligence challenges,
- Tips for defining and refining your product strategy,
- Techniques for acquiring your first 100 customers,
- Methods for successful experimentation and iteration,
- Pricing and monetization strategies,
- Best practices for effective external communication,
- Understanding and utilizing metrics, KPIs, and progress tracking.
Designed to provide comprehensive insights, these workshops equip you with the tools and knowledge to boost your project’s growth and success.
What is the time commitment?
It's a few hours per week if you participate in all the recommended activities. There are weekly workshops (1-2 hours each) and meetings with mentors and experts. We hope to see you at each workshop but don't keep the score. All parts of the Text Accelerated program are optional. The program aims to give you support and space. We're here to help and support you, not overwhelm you.
How does mentoring work?
Each week you can connect with mentors and experts in your chosen area. You have the option to meet with up to 5 people weekly. Each meeting will last 20 minutes. During this time you can ask any questions or get feedback.
What happens at the end?
The program ends with a demo day. We're inviting our partners and customers to this meeting so you can present your product to a broader audience. Besides the demo day, makers should have a refined product ready to launch for the customers.
Do you invest in the projects at the end of the program?
No, in the first edition, we do not invest any money. We're here to share our expertise and kick-start you with the knowledge and expertise we have. Sometimes you don't need money to do this.
